Advanced Eventing and Horsemanship Summer Camp
If your rider eats, sleeps, and breathes horses, this camp is for them. We're spending an entire week diving into eventing, horse care, training, competition preparation, and all the behind-the-scenes skills that make great horsemen and horsewomen.
June 22 - 26th
7am - 2 pm
This is not a beginner camp. We'll be limiting it to just 10 riders so we can keep instruction individualized and make sure everyone gets plenty of attention.
Riders will bring their own horse (limited lease opportunities may be available) and spend the week learning what goes into producing an event horse both at home and at competitions.

Daily Schedule
Mornings will be spent riding before the heat sets in.
Lessons may be private, semi-private, or small group depending
on horse and rider goals. We'll work on dressage, pole work,
coursework, groundwork, fitness, course walking, and
understanding why we do what we do.
Students will be encouraged to watch every lesson, not just
their own. We'll discuss training methods, horse behavior,
rider position, course design, problem-solving, and how different
horses learn.
Afternoons will be spent in the shade with horsemanship lessons
and, of course, a fun camp craft. Topics will include:
• Wrapping and bandaging
• Icing and recovery
• Tack care and organization
• Horse health monitoring
• Fitness and conditioning
• Competition preparation
• Stable management
• Feed and nutrition
In true Pony Club fashion, riders will be responsible for their horse throughout the week. They'll learn grooming, tack cleaning, cooling out, preparing feeds, and all the little details that make a good horseman.
The goal isn't just better riding. It's helping riders understand everything that goes into caring for and developing a successful event horse.
Horses may stay on property after camp hours, with evening grain feeding and night checks provided.
